July 6-7: Parma!

Influenced by the recommendation of my buddy Greg, I decided to go to Parma! It was like a cleaner Bologna. With churches and parks and food.

This is the park where some rando Italian guy got me to take his picture and then bought me coffee. He said something about Facebook but I denied having one. I'm thinking "girl can I add you on facebook" is the new "girl can I get yo' numbah".

Probably you can't tell from this picture but there were some pretty large fish for this smallish pond thing

Not very impressive as a river but it does have a swampy kind of prettiness to it.

Outside the baptistry

I don't know if you can see, but there were SO MANY BIRDS

Inside the baptistry. The guy gave me a little book thing to read about the history and stuff.

This may be one of my favorite things. They took the ruins of a citadel and turned it into a really nice park!

Obviously. Kinder egg gelato! Is this europe or what? Also mango, for the curious.

This was my view from my bed the second night.
